Fourth grade students are very energetic and their span of attention or focus could be very small. We assessed the impact of political ideology, religiosity, ethical concerns and science data (measured with a science literacy test, consisting of true or false objects resembling ‘All radioactivity is made by people’, and ‘The centre of the Earth could be very sizzling’) on participants’ responses to those numerous measures.
